Brandon Flynn (born October 11, 1993)[1] is an American actor, known for his role as Justin Foley in 13 Reasons Why , Home Movies and, Brain dead.

Early life

Flynn's first role was when he was ten, playing Mr. Smee in a musical version of Peter Pan.[2]

Flynn was born in Miami, Florida, where he attended high school at New World School of the Arts.[1] He graduated from the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University in New Jersey in 2016, with a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts.[3]

Career

In 2015, Flynn was cast as Luke in the Off-Broadway production Kid Victory performed at Signature Theatre[4]. This was followed in 2016 with a casting as Mike the intern in BrainDead. In 2017 Flynn returned to play Luke in Kid Victory again, this time performed at the Vineyard Theatre.[5].

Prior to these roles, Flynn acted in various commercials and films, playing a reporter for CWW's "FL Kidcare Health," the principal on Sirens and Sid on Lost and Gone Forever. Flynn has also acted in eleven plays, including Much Ado About Nothing and The Crucible.[citation needed]

As of 2017, Flynn plays the character Justin Foley in Netflix's 13 Reasons Why.
