Beyhadh (English : Limitless) is an Indian Romantic thriller daily soap opera, which premiered on October 11, 2016 on Sony Entertainment Television (India) and Sony Entertainment Television Asia.[1]. BEYHADH- Badle Ki Daastaan. The show being given a prime time slot at 8:30 pm airs MON FRI. Beyhadh is a psycho-thriller with a strong love angle. It chronicles the lives of Maya, Arjun and Saanjh , and how their paths cross as one of them decides to rewrite their destinies. The show also dubbed in Tamil as Maaya on Polimer TV which airs at 7:00 pm from January 2, 2017 Monday to Friday. As of June 5, 2017, the show airs on Gemini TV in Telugu as Nuvvu Naku Nachchav and on Surya TV in Malayalam as Premam at 9:30 pm from Monday to Saturday. Jennifer Winget, Kushal Tandon and Aneri Vajani play the lead roles in the series.[2][3][4][5][6][7] The show is scheduled to go off air on 28 October . Beyhadh gained a lot of popularity throughout its launch mainly because of Jennifer Winget and her new character with grey shades.[8][9][10][11][12]
Plot
The story revolves around the three main characters of Maya Mehrotra (Jennifer Winget), Arjun Sharma (Kushal Tandon), and Saanjh Mathur (Aneri Vajani)
Maya Mehrotra is the owner of 'Fashion and the City' magazine, young beautiful and an achiever woman but bossy, eccentric in behavior, has troubled childhood with her abusive father Ashwin Mehrotra (Rajesh Khattar). However, Maya remains close to her mother Jhanvi Mehrotra (Kavita Ghai) who stays with her. Arjun Sharma is cheerful, handsome budding photographer who works for Maya. His best friend since childhood is Saanjh Mathur, a Lawyer. She loves Arjun but hesitates to express her feelings while Arjun considers her as best buddy. Arjun doesn't get along well with his stepmother Vandana Sharma (Swati Shah) but loves his half-brother, Ayaan Sharma (Sumit Bhardwaj). Thus, Ayaan, Arjun, and Saanjh remain close friends.
Arjun's easy going attitude peeves Maya at times but likes him as he rescues her whenever she faces trouble in life and her abusive father. She falls in love with Arjun, later proposes to him. Shocked by her sudden proposal, Arjun seeks time to respond. Soon certain situations bring them closer and Arjun proposes to her during their work assignment in Mauritius. Soon Arjun, Maya and Saanjh's life drastically changes.
