William Wiseman (sheriff of Elgin)

William Wiseman was a 13th-14th century Scottish nobleman and the Sheriff of Elgin.
Life
William did homage to King Edward I of England at Elgin in 1295. He was on the side of the English in 1304, as the Sheriff of Elgin. After switching sides to the Scottish cause, he captured Skelbo Castle in 1308.[1][2]
