Turkey Sandwiches are a type of sandwich that is very popular at nationwide sandwich chains, Subway and Quizno's. The Turkey Sandwich was voted America's #1 Sandwich in a recent study conducted by the University of Detroit. Subway also reported that it is the sandwich most often ordered by patrons, accounting for approximately 11.2% of annual orders. The Turkey Sandwich is also the least fattening non-vegetarian sandwich, when all other conditionals are equal. Turkey breast is the lowest in fat of all deli meats.
