Vizag,s old town area or one town area has has more then 300 years rich history in British era the business of whole city is located hear includes administration of Vizagapatam District (Madras Presidency) ruled from hear.there is so many old monuments built hear like Town hall(1904),Kurapam Market(1914),European Cemetery (1699),Queen Victoria's Pavilion (1904),St John's Church (1844),Queen Mary's school (1800),Ishaq Madina dargah(1706),St Aloysius School (1847),Lighthouse (1903).[2]
