Spelling

It would make more sense to use original French spelling - Michael Goodyear (talk) 01:05, 24 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I'm referring to the way the family spelled their names, and their mother tongue. Meghem, of which the Brimeu family held the County, was a French speaking exclave in the northern part of the Duchy of Brabant, on the river Meuse. Flanders is more of a 19th-20th century term, though there was an original County of Flanders. My particular interest is in Marie de Brimeu, who was French speaking. --Michael Goodyear (talk) 16:44, 24 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
