Professional

I am an aviation professional for +30 years, focusing on airports and airline pages in Wikipedia but also contributing where I find mistakes elsewhere.

On CheckIn.com (a B2B-site) we do complex Catchment Area analyses for airline and airport network planners, based on population within Isochrones (drive time zones). I am also working in other areas related to aviation network planning, A-CDM, flight disruption and deicing management as well as airport operations centers. My professional "profile" can be found on LinkedIn

As of my professional background I mostly use the English Wikipedia and also happen to write and comment mostly in English. And I am not a professional developer, so I may do mistakes, but hope nobody will find them. I also am sorry that I cannot mass-contribute our findings (i.e. latest and most accurate airport passenger statistics) in Wikipedia, but if you work in aviation, you might enjoy free access to that part of our work on the CheckIn.com website.

Personal

Living in Germany I enjoy a small intercultural and "all girls" family. I love the Western Mediterranean, sun and beaches (water sports).

Geneally I believe that most of our day-to-day problems are from greed (a mortal sin), which is why I am still not rich but spend "valuable time" contributing to the aviation industry, Wikipedia and other causes.
