Author/Copyright Holder's Name: St. Mirren Football Club

Article To Be Used On/Reason For Upload: St. Mirren F.C., because the current image that is there does not have the correct colours. The checkered pattern and the cups should both be a Royal Blue colour instead of the purple that is currently depicted. The crest is based on the Paisley Coat of arms: http://www.ngw.nl/heraldrywiki/images/a/a9/Paisley.jpg RBrNx277 (talk) 10:57, 14 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Comment: - The current link does not appear to be working. Further, the link is to a drop box location and does not serve to establish that whatever is purportedly linked to is in current use as the organization's logo. Further, the requesting user has been blocked as a promotional account. They may request a name change in accordance with our username policies and amend the request with the necessary information. If this is not done this request will be closed as declined. TimothyJosephWood 14:05, 21 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Article To Be Used On Iraqi beauty pageants

Maxkris88 (talk) 09:50, 31 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Comment: - This is a comparatively minor point, but one that pretty much sinks the fair use rationale. If the article is about "Miss Iraq", then it should be Miss Iraq. If the article is about "Iraqi beauty pageants," that is, about a general topic and not a specific organization, then that's fine, but it means that the logo fails WP:NFCC #8, since the omission of a specific logo, on an article about a general category of thing would not be detrimental to an encyclopedic understanding.  Not done - MischaBartonfan1: Non-free content may only be used on published articles, and cannot be added to drafts. The draft has been declined as recently as yesterday. You will need to request the image once the draft is accepted and published. GMGtalk 14:02, 22 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
User:GreenMeansGo, the article was declined at AfC on 21 September but then improved and subsequently accepted on the next day. The article is now at Deserted (2016 film), so I think that the request should be accepted (provided that the poster is correct – I haven't double-checked it). --Stefan2 (talk) 23:00, 23 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
