‘Bharatiya Bigyan O Yuktibadi Samiti’ commonly known as Science and Rationalists’ Association of India is a well renowned organisation that fights against several superstitions present in our society since its inception in 1985.

It has come to my notice through several mediums that Mr. Debasis Bhattacharya is illegally using the name and registration number of our organisation claiming that he is the General Secretary of our organisation. He is intentionally spreading the rumour that famous rationalist Prabir Ghosh was expelled from the organisation in 1996. He is also attending some anti-superstition programmes in TV Channels illegally using our organisation's name. He and his group member have updated this wrong information in Wikipedia also.

You are well aware that according to The Societies Registration Act 1961, there can’t be two registered organisations with similar names. As per the official records name of our organisation is ‘Bharatiya Bigyan O Yuktibadi Samiti’ which was registered on 8th December, 1989 vide registration number S/63498 of 1989-1990. Registered address is 72/8, Debinibas Road, Kolkata-700074 and it has never been changed to 31, Prankrishna Saha Lane, Baranagar, Kolkata-700036...

We are attaching the copy of registration certificate, current committee member details, latest payment slip of registration renewal, logo registration details, for your reference.

We are already in the process of legal action against this individual and his group members. Request you to allow us to modify the same in Wikipedia also. We have exposed this fraudulent activity in our website as mentioned below.
