Miss Earth 2017 will be the 17th edition of Miss Earth pageant, scheduled on 4 November 2017 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay, Metro Manila, Philippines. Katherine Espín of Ecuador will crown her successor at the end of the event.[2]

This year's pageant theme is 'Heroines Fighting Climate Change '.

Venue

On June 23, 2017 the Miss Earth Organization announced through their official Facebook Page that the 2017 edition of the pageant will take place on the 4th day of November 2017 at the Mall of Asia Arena – a 20,000 seater indoor arena located in Pasay City, Metro Manila in the Philippines. This is the second time for Mall of Asia Arena to host this prestigious event for two consecutive years.

Replacements

  •  Belgium — Kimberly Driege has been replaced by Lauralyn Vermeersch. Kimberly has to recover from the tragic disaster caused by the earthquake in Mexico where she lives.[92]
  •  Brazil — Bruna Vizintin, the original winner of Miss Brazil Earth 2017 pageant, whas dethroned by the new organization because she was unable to agree with some duties on her contract. Yasmin Engelke, the 4th runner-up was announced as Brasil's representative this year.
  •  Sierra Leone — Ismatu Daramy replaced Claudia Josephine Suma, a finalist at the recently concluded Miss Earth Sierra Leone 2017 who then replaced Esther Williams following Esther's indication of her inability to participate and represent Sierra Leone at the upcoming Miss Earth 2017 pageant.[93]
  •  Spain – Noemi Sartal has been dethroned and Ainara de Santamaría Villamor, the 2nd runner-up will take over.[94]
