Infinite Flight is a flight simulator developed by Flying Development Studio LLC. The game was released for Android, iOS, and Windows Phone, though a Windows Phone version is no longer available.
Gameplay
Infinite Flight" has global flight and features a variety of aircrafts (free and IAPs) that can be flown. Global flight including all aircrafts, multiplayer and ATC can be used if an IF Pro subscription is bought either with a 1 month, 6 months or a 1 year plan. This also includes real time simulation with weather changes currently happening in the real life region. It is needed to have an internet connection while playing as Infinite Flight streams it scenery thru its servers. There is also engine starts, fuel dumps and LNAV that follows your filed flightplan. Planned updates that are soon to be released is the inclusion of the famous McDonnell Douglas aircrafts DC-10, MD11, KC10 and others.
Reception
In 2012, The Mac Observer gave the first release a score of 2.5/5 ("Disappointing"), saying that "it has some serious problems compared to its competition".[1] In 2014, after several new releases, PocketMeta gave it a score of 4.2/5, calling it a "classic of the flight simulation genre with a stellar selection of aircraft, locations and airports"[2] and The New York Times stated Infinite Flight was "easily the most impressive flight simulator for mobile devices".[3] In a review of the 2016 release of the C130, FlightSim.com wrote: "Like all newer aircraft released by Flying Development Studios, this is top quality, and certainly not one to be missed".[4]
