It is needed to have an internet connection while playing as Infinite Flight streams it scenery thru its servers. There is also engine starts, fuel dumps and LNAV that follows your filed flightplan. Planned updates that are soon to be released is the inclusion of the famous McDonnell Douglas aircrafts DC-10, MD11, KC10 and others.
