Plamen Dereu (born Plamen Petkov on May 4, 1984) is a Dutch born singer, songwriter, and producer.

Born and raised in Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria, he graduated in 2007 from the University of Veliko Tarnovo with a bachelors degree in Psychology. After successfully auditioning for Music Idols in 2009 he made it as a finalist in the third season of Music Idol in Bulgaria^[1].

In 2010 Plamen moved to Rotterdam, The Netherlands and starting producing, composing and writing his own songs. On Jun 1 2012, he starts his own company, Sayin' Dope^[2].
