Casting

Elmo Magalona and Janella Salvador were part of the original main cast, but were eventually dropped out because of major changes to the storyline and production.[6] They were replaced by Jerome Ponce and Loisa Andalio respectively.[7]

Jerome, Joshua and Loisa will be working again for the second-time since from the hit-afternoon of 2015 teleserye Nasaan Ka Nang Kailangan Kita 2 years ago.

This is the remarkable reunion of Nash Aguas, Eula Valdes, John Estrada, Liza Lorena and Albert Martinez since from the hit teleserye Maria Flordeluna (since 2007) 10 years ago

This is also the first reunion project of Jerome, McCoy and Elisse since from the hit-pre-afternoon 2012 drama Be Careful With My Heart and after the closure of Elisse and Jerome's relationship on Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky 7.

Timeslot

The series was originally supposed to replace The Better Half as a part of Kapamilya Gold afternoon block. But due to requests and favors of the viewers, the management decided to put it on a Primetime Bida evening block replacing A Love to Last. The Promise of Forever was placed on the afternoon slot instead.
