The 1970 FIBA World Championship was an international basketball competition hosted by Yugoslavia at Bosnia Sarajevo, Croatia Split, Karlovac,Macedonia Skopje and Slovenia Ljubljana, from May 10 to 24, 1970.[1] It was the first ever FIBA World Championship hosted outside South America.
