The Ars Amatoria ("The Art of Love") is a series of three books by Ovid, the first two written about 1 BC to AD 1 and the third somewhat later. Its topics are (heterosexual) love and sex, and it can be regarded as an early sex manual.

The publication of the Ars Amatoria was at least partly responsible for Ovid's banishment to the provinces by the Emperor Augustus.
