Chad Gilbert

Chad Gilbert is the lead guitarist with American pop-punk band New Found Glory. New Found Glory has had multiple Gold records and has recently released their new album called "Coming Home" on Geffen Records. Gilbert was born March 9'th, 1981. Gilbert is a former singer for the popular underground hardcore band Shai Hulud and is also a former member and songwriter of the hardcore punk band Hazen Street. Gilbert also performed guest vocals for the band Throwdown on the album Haymaker for the song "The Only Thing". And has been a guest on the last two Fall Out Boy albums (vox and guitar).

Chad Gilbert has recently announced his engagement to Eisley vocalist/guitarist/songwriter Sherri DuPree. Gilbert proposed to her at the Hollywood premiere of "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe," (DuPree's favorite book), at the El Capitan Theatre. Gilbert is also the co-owner of Broken Sounds, a record label under the Lumberjack Mordam music group that also contains such labels as Eyeball, Eulogy and Brand Name.

Gilbert grew up in Coral Springs, Florida, but now currently resides in Tyler, Texas where he and his fiance' are building a home.

Chad once serenaded Kelly Osbourne in a busy L.A. restuarant.

Chad's favorite Starbucks drink is Chai Tea Latte'.
