Ronald F. Abler

Ronald Francis Abler (born 1939) is an American geographer, currently at Pennsylvania State University and an Elected Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.[1][2] He is a former president of the American Association of Geographers and the International Geographical Union, and a recipient of the Samuel Finley Breese Morse Medal and the Victoria Medal. He is a key early figure in the development of geography of media and communication.
