Charles Corver is a former Dutch football referee. He is mostly remembered for his controversial decisions, or lack thereof, involving goalkeeper Harald Schumacher for his collision with Patrick Battiston, in the historical 1982 World Cup semifinal between Germany and France, in Seville, Spain. But he was the best Dutch referee ever. He was decorated twice. First by de Queen en the association (KNVB-UEFA-FIFA).
