The Exchange 106 (formerly known as TRX Signature Tower) is a skyscraper under construction in Tun Razak Exchange (TRX), Kuala Lumpur, a financial and business district in Kuala Lumpur. This 106-floor building will be topped with a 48 meter, 12-storeyed high illuminated crown at its peak, for a total height of 492 meters[2][3], about 40 meters taller than the country's tallest building, the Petronas Towers.[4][needs update]
Developed by the Mulia Group, construction began on 29 April 2016, and is set for completion in the third quarter 2018.[5] When completed, the tower will be the tallest building in Malaysia at 492 meters until the completion of KL118.[6] It also going to be the first ever skyscraper in South East Asia to have more than 100 storeys.
The main contractor for this project is China State Construction Engineering Corporation and this building will be the tallest building built by Chinese company outside China.
