Consultant members serve the purpose of answering any questions posed by the rest of the WikiProject. Anyone can choose to be a consultant, and is encouraged to select a specific area of expertise to specialize in. The only criteria for consultant status is regular activity, and a knowledge base encompassing the proceedings of WikiProject Former countries. It is also the job of consultant members to welcome new recruits with the {{WelcomeWPFC}} template.
If you would like to join as a volunteer, place your name at the bottom of this list. Please also let us know what languages, other than English, you can read — starting with your native language(s) (in italics) followed by other languages (starting with the one you are strongest with). Also include any other skills you have a proficiency in, and would be willing to apply to the WikiProject's functioning. All members will receive a Y by their names for adding {{User WPFC}} to their user page. This shows our recognition for your support of the WikiProject.
After joining you are also welcome to sign up for any of the subprojects of WikiProject Former countries. Please use the same format of registry when joining these subprojects.
The following members have not made a contribution to Wikipedia for over 6 months. Please use the contributions resource to check members' status. Return yourself to the main list if you notice your name is categorized as inactive.
