Pranav Sachdev is an Indian actor born and brought up in Delhi. He is primarily known for his work on National television and the digital space.

He is an alumnus of Modern School, which is also where he commenced his journey of theatre, he later secured admission in Hans Raj College through the dramatics quota.[1]

Pranav co-runs a production house named LCM Entertainment, through which he has produced various celebrity stage productions and creatively headed various web ads and fictional series.[2]

Pranav Sachdev calls himself as an actor because of his dual characters played at the same time, Many actors have tried to ape the psycho lover Rahul that Shah Rukh Khan played on silver screen, but it has never been attempted on television. That is changing with Pranav Sachdev key role as the two-faced character he plays in Deepak Sharma’s gripping daily soap Agar Tum Saath Ho, produced by Gulshan Sachdeva for the revamped Zindagi channel.[3]

Personal Life

Pranav was born in Delhi and grew up with his younger brother and their parents Simi Sachdev and Bharat Sachdev. His father who himself is a lawyer made sure that Pranav completed his LLB from the Mumbai University before getting into the show business. [4]

Career

Pranav began his career as a child actor in a TV show named 'Intehaa' that aired on Doordarshan. This was followed by a TV film called 'Lathi'. Later, he acted in various professionally staged plays under the guidance of theatre veteran Raj Upadhyay and was cast as the lead in the TV show 'Zindagi Dot Com' directed by Umesh Bist. [5]

Pranav has featured in numerous ad commercials for brands like DABUR, HYUNDAI etc. and acted in various plays starring acting legends including Asrani, Tom Alter etc

He is currently shooting for 'Dilliwood' a web original for 'Times Internet'.
