Tiffany Coyne
Tiffany Coyne is a substitute or guest model? 204.171.51.108 (talk) 14:40, 8 March 2011 (UTC)
Barker vs. classic "Beauties"
I don't know if this appropriate for this article, but should we add statements (albeit brief) about the strife that exists between Bob Barker and the "classic Beauties" (Janice, Holly, Kathleen and Dian)? I thought of this after reading the article about Bob Barker in the print edition of the May 14, 2007 USA Today (this was a sidebar to the main article about Barker's long TV career). The reporter attempted to ask him about where he stands with the "classic Beauties;" Bob firmly would not talk about the subject, except to say "They're disgusting." The feud he has with the "classic Beauties" has been well documented, and credible news sources are easy to find (although I'm sure each model's page also has sourced statements about their individual falling outs with Barker). The article, BTW, also went on to note Barker's glowing review of the current group of Beauties. Sorry if I sound long-winded, but any comments are appreciated. [[Briguy52748 20:12, 15 May 2007 (UTC)]] (BTW — Only the main article about Barker's career is posted on USA Today's online site; the sidebar with the remarks about the classic Beauties appears to be in the print edition only).
- Well, I have heard no response, so I guess it may be time to be bold and add it. And BTW, I did see where the "critical" remarks for the classic beauties and the praise for the current ones is included with the online USA Today article. [[Briguy52748 18:19, 16 October 2007 (UTC)]]
Model list
I would like to suggest that the list be ordered (in this order of criteria):
- chronologically by earliest debut
- chronologically by eraliest departure
- alphabetically by surname (for any who may have worked the exact same period)

Dolly Parton
I have a vague memory of watching the show when I was a kid, and Dolly Parton appeared in an episode as one of Barker's Beauties. I've searched google and can't find a reference to it (so I haven't added it to the page), but I'm sure it happened. Can anyone find a reference to this? I'm sure I'm not dreaming it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.37.244.28 (talk) 15:55, 12 November 2008 (UTC)
Amanda Shiflett
One thing I really need to ask, and I'm sorry for shouting or anything, but why hasn't Amanda Shiflett, the 2008 Model Search winner been on the show?!?! Did she resign as being a model or was she fired? Because she wasn't on the show in recent months. If anyone else knows what happened and would like to mention it in the article, feel free to do so.--70.240.230.131 (talk) 15:14, 6 June 2009 (UTC)Chris
- It was mentioned on-air and/or on the model search webpage, that the prize for winning the search was getting to tape a week's worth of shows. The prize was not a guaranteed full-time job on the show. Amanda Shiflett did appear on the show for her one week after she won the contest. Apparently, she wasn't hired for any additional work. I'm not sure where I can find a citable source for that info. --JamesAM (talk) 00:51, 11 February 2010 (UTC)
Status of Manuela Arbelaez and Brandi Sherwood
I think the article needs to be updated regarding the status of Manuela and Brandi, because I think it's inaccurate as it is now. All indications suggest that five models are considered permanent current models (Rachel, Lanisha, Amber, Gwendolyn, and Manuela). Each of the five has comparable profiles on the show's official website (http://www.priceisright.com/show), but Brandi does not. I don't recall any recent references to Manuela Arbeláez being merely a substitute rather than a permanent model. I don't know if the original intent was for Manuela to be a short-term sub with Brandi returning quickly, but she's currently being treated as permanent. She been on the show for over 10 months (since April 2009). So I think a few changes should be made. (1) The paragraph "Currently, the show uses four permanent models, three of which appear on any given episode – Lanisha Cole, Rachel Reynolds, Amber Lancaster, and Gwendolyn Osbourne Smith. Manuela Arbeláez, who participated in the 2008 model search, is currently assigned as the fifth regular model in the rotation, replacing Brandi Sherwood, who is on maternity leave" should be changed to reflect five permanent models including Manuela. (2) The table of models should not refer to Manuela as a substitute. (3) The table states that Brandi is "on maternity leave until early Season 38" but it's well into 38, and she still hasn't returned. I think the table should instead note that she left on maternity leave late in Season 37. I figured I'd explain all this here since it's a bit long for an edit summary and others might disagree. --JamesAM (talk) 01:19, 11 February 2010 (UTC)
Article title
Should this article's title be changed to "The Price Is Right Models" since, post 2007, that is what they are referred to? The bulk of the models interacted with Barker, though the list includes individuals who were never referred to as "Barker's Beauties". Sottolacqua (talk) 19:12, 22 February 2011 (UTC)
- I concur. I'm boldly moving it; the existing title will remain as a redirect, so the existing links to the current title will be fine. oknazevad (talk) 16:19, 4 March 2011 (UTC)
Poor choice of words
Changed the phrase "has...had a stable" to "employed a number" because the term "stable" often applies to prostitutes. Not appropriate for this article.--SN 22 November 2012

Gwendolyn Osborne's departure
I was wanting to help out with a reliable source on Gwendolyn Osborne's departure in order for everything to be accurate on the page, but when I asked AldezD about an article on Eurweb, I'm assuming he's pointing out that I inadvertently didn't type my message correctly. Wouldn't Eurweb be appropriate? --2600:1005:B021:8617:609B:6138:FA5D:134E (talk) 15:38, 29 December 2017 (UTC)
