The Services Preparatory Institute (Template:Lang-mr) is an Indian military school. It was established in 1977 at Aurangabad, Maharashtra, by the Government of Maharashtra to prepare students for the written examination held by Union Public Service Commission and Services Selection Board for joining National Defence Academy and Indian Naval Academy. In 2017 the institute received more than nine thousand applications for sixty available places.[1]
