"Atlantis" is a rock music instrumental recorded by the British group the Shadows that was written by Jerry Lordan.[1]
It was released by EMI as a single in May 1963 on the Columbia label with "I Want You to Want Me" (Marvin) as the B-side. It spent 17 weeks in the UK Top 40 pop chart reaching number two and holding that position for two weeks in late June/early July 1963.[2]
