Wilson recently sold his BMX shop in Tavistock, Devon[2] and now runs the personalised gift company FromLucy[3] with his wife Lucy Tapper. He is author, along with Tapper, of the book Hedgehugs.[4]

From 2005 until 2006, Wilson presented the CITV show Feel the Fear with Holly Willoughby.

He occasionally appears on ITV's daytime programme This Morning, usually reporting on gadgets.[5] In January 2018, Wilson was referred to as 'Still Weasel' live on air by one of the show's lead presenters Holly Willoughby.[6]
