Nyenschantz model at the museum

Nyenschantz (Template:Lang-sv, Template:Lang-fi, Template:Lang-ru Nienschanz), often known as Ниен Nien or Канцы Kantsy, was a Swedish fortress built in 1611 near the mouth of the Neva river in Swedish Ingria, on the site of present-day St. Petersburg, Russia.[1]
