Article Evaluation

- In the Clayton Kershaw article on Wikipedia, it seems that everything was relevant towards the topic and is a good place to get any basic information about Clayton Kershaw. - The article is told from a neutral standpoint. Most of the things being discussed are certain statistics and just other basic information from his personal life. - No viewpoints are overrepresented at all. All the information is purely factual and can be proven correct. - The citations that I chose did work and sent me to the reference page. For example, if you click the citation of where they got their data and statistics from his baseball career, you will be sent to the original reference page. - Each fact that was stated did have their own references, and either came from journal articles or professional websites pages like the MLB website. All facts are from a neutral standpoint and are never opinionated. - The information seemed to be updated rather recently. Given that his statistics from his baseball career change every year. - Many of the conversations being discussed involve minor changes that need to be made in the article. Changes including grammar errors and glitches in external links that were marked fixed rather quickly from when they were posted. - The Clayton Kershaw article is rated "good" and is under the good article criteria on Wikipedia. It is also apart of three WikiProjects one that is a general project, one that is marked Low Importance, and one marked High Importance. - Wikipedia discusses the topic like we do in class. That it is from a neutral point of view, without bias, and with many facts that can be referenced from somewhere.

Ella Ochoa Outline

- My group will be sharing my Sandbox to draft the Ella Ochoa article. - 1st we will give the basic information about Ella Ochoa giving her birthdate and her basic information - 2nd will be any background information that she has. - 3rd will be where she attended for her education. - 4th will be how she ended up with the NAF Multicultural Human Development Corporation, giving information about the company and what she does there.
