Aaraama Dravidulu is a sub-caste of Telugu Brahmins from Andhra Pradesh,in the state of India.[citation needed] There are several sub sects of Dravida Brahmins. They belong to Pancha Dravida Brahmins. During the reign of Raj Raja Narendra of Thanjavur (Tanjore) Tamil Nadu, a few of these families settled in different parts of Andhra Pradesh and are named after the places in which they settled. Examples of these locations are Pudur Dravidulu, Konaseema Dravidulu, Peda Dravidulu and Dimili Dravidulu. They are primarily categorized as the Saiva Brahmins or followers of Shiva.[1][2][3]
