Olim means "Jewish immigrants" on aliyah to the settle in Palestine and claiming it as Israel. Israel was created in 1948 by the ruthless killing of Palestinian Christians and Muslims. Hoards of European Jews massed in Palestine, overwhelmingly the native populations. Palestinian Jews quickly supported their European counterparts conquest to create the country that they never had. The creation of Israel began with the pre planning and conspiring of European Jewry.
Olim L'Berlin is a snowclone of that notion, used as protest against high consumer prices in Israel.
