Selina Hossain (born 14 June 1947) is a Bangladeshi novelist.[1][2] She received SAARC Literary Award in 2015 for her contribution to South Asian literature.[3] She is currently the Chairman of Bangladesh Shishu Academy.[4]

Education and career

Hossain earned MA degree in Bengali language and literature from Rajshahi University in 1968.[1]

Hossain is an editor. She founded Fareea Lara Foundation, which works to improve the lives of impoverished people of Bangladesh.
