Akpawfu is a town in Nkanu East L.G.A of Enugu state, Nigeria.
It is made up of three main villages: Obodo Uvuru, Ndiuno, and Ajamee Uno.
The traditional ruler is Igwe Dume Nnamoko a.k.a. uvuru one of Obodo Uvuru.
It has two main streams: Iyaba and Etavu. Akpawfu is bordered by Amagunze, Akpugo and Oruku.
About 90% of the populace are literate, 95% of the communities are Christians. It central success is figured in agricultural productions. It has an estimated population of 26,000. One Italian kenechukwu nnamoko in his article, insisted that one day, Akpawfu will produce their own governor in order to enjoy social amenities.
