Sicilians

Hello, Walter J. Rotelmayer (talk · contribs), what you are doing is incorrect there is a clear distinction between Sicilians and Italians, until recently Italians were not even allowed in the Mafia, being this has been mentioned in every major film, documentary and books regarding the subject and the clear consensus through editing. Please do not revert without discussion. Here is a source [1] and [2] Valoem talk contrib 00:35, 7 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

It is highly offensive that you try to source something related to Sicily and Sicilians using books on Mafia which actually have nothing to do with ethnicity and culture. Secondly Sicily has been always culturally linked to the rest of Italy even before the Unification, just have a look of music and literature. Ethnically speaking there is not ethnic census which distinguishes Italians from Sicilians in Sicily since the latter are a regional subgroup of the first. Moreover, please don't remove sourced contents.--93.37.81.141 (talk) 23:21, 8 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
