Rurala Road (Template:Lang-ur) is a small town in the tehsil of Jaranwala, district of Faisalabad, Punjab, Pakistan. [1] It is located at 31°12'5N 0N 73°17'60E with an altitude of 170 metres (561 feet).[2] [3]

Location

Rurala Road is also known as Chak No.283 GB. Its Union Council number is 65. The chairman of union council is Abdul Ghafoor Jappa and vice chairman is Abdul Rehman who is the advocate of high court. It is located between Tehsil Jaranwala and Tehsil Tandlianwala. Its postal code is 37200 and telephone number format is 0092 41 4630000. It has a railway station, a bank (HBL), a post office, a bus stand, taxi stand and some large and small markets. A cable television service with 52 channels is available launched by Abdul Rehman, as is DSL broadband. The office of the union council, government hospital and Veterinary hospital are also here.There are also four private hospitals. There is a biggest Mosque of tahsil Jaranwala which is double story. It is a trading center for all the villages situated nearby. Rurala Road was one of the busiest villages with the biggest bazaar in the area around Faisalabad in the late 1970s to '80s but, due to migration into cities including Faisalabad and Lahore, its importance has diminished.[citation needed].
