Is it about robots, bots or both?
So is this about robots, bots or both?
For software robots the term is "bot" hence the name should be changed if it's not also about robots.

- You can't figure this out on your own by consulting the sources provided in the article or just perform a simple web search?
- From "AI interns: Software already taking jobs from humans", "Having software agents that could take some of the simpler claims meant Barclays could employ fewer people.", "Massachusetts-based Nuance Communications is building AIs..."
- From "Blue Prism’s robotic process automation offers scope for artificial intelligence", "The “robot” in question is a software application that replicates the action of a human being interacting with a software application, such as, for example, data entry into an SAP system, or a business process." (COI WARNING: market research company consultant opinion piece)
- From "Robotic Automation Emerges as a Threat to Traditional Low-Cost Outsourcing", "...the use of software robots to handle routine business processes has another attraction..." (COI WARNING: market research company report for sale)
- From "Robotic Process Automation Opens New Doors For Finance And Risk", "Unlike their human counterparts, bots work 24 hours a day, seven days a week..."
- From "Robotic process automation: the latest promise to liberate back offices", ""IT robots (automation software) are programmed to be used with data-driven and rule-based processes" -- DanielPenfield (talk) 09:37, 12 January 2017 (UTC)
- From "What is Robotic Process Automation, and what benefits could it bring to your enterprise?", "This is where Robotic Process Automation (RPA) with AI comes in, enabling business and IT teams in an enterprise to automate processes using a virtual software robot." (hosted on website blacklisted by Wikipedia, just Google the article name)
- From "Is Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Just Marketing Speak?", "All we’re doing here is using software automation more cleverly and then referring to the software as “software robots”."
- If the name "robotic process automation" is so widely used, should you really be changing the article title? -- DanielPenfield (talk) 09:37, 12 January 2017 (UTC)

Please add Kryon Systems to the list of robotic process automation vendors as they are a reputable vendor in this field. For verification, please see their website: http://www.kryonsystems.com/ Tirtzag (talk) 10:42, 25 May 2017 (UTC)
- Not done:. Kryon Systems does not have an article on Wikipedia and their own website cannot be used to prove they are notible enough to be included in this article. Sarahj2107 (talk) 14:12, 25 May 2017 (UTC)
Resubmitting request to add Kryon Systems to list. They are mentioned as part of independent technology analyst (Forrester) review of prominent solution vendors:

Request to add Software vendor: Softomotive (www.softomotive.com)
I would please like to kindly request that our company Softomotive is also listed in the list of RPA vendors. To justify the request, I would like to add that Softomotive is also included in RPA analyst reports such as Forrester Robotic Process Automation Wave 2017 and Everest Group RPA Matrix. 164.39.212.106 (talk) 16:18, 15 June 2017 (UTC)
- Not done: Does your software company have its own page? We avoid listing (per WP:NOT) entities which do not have their own Wikipedia page. Izno (talk) 16:38, 15 June 2017 (UTC)
Company Article Request
Would an editor familiar with Robotic Process Automation be willing to look at a company article request for Instaknow? The article request can be found at Wikipedia:Requested articles/Business and economics/Companies/F-L. The article request includes multiple outside sources and multiple patents. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.49.215.50 (talk) 19:40, 5 July 2017 (UTC)

Please add WorkFusion (www.workfusion.com) to the list of RPA software providers. WorkFusion is named in every Everest, Forrester, Gartner, and HfS report on RPA and is compared alongside Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, and UI Path in RFIs/RFPs. Thank you! Under the segment of "RPA software vendors" - the company Jacada should be included. The link to the company is www.Jacada.com. They are direct competitors and in several cases more notable than those already listed.
Please change: Notable RPA software vendors include:

ADD "UiPath" to list of "RPA Vendors" <UiPath is one of the vendors listed in the 2017 Forrester Wave (10) which you've already referenced as a source for other vendors> </https://www.forrester.com/report/The+Forrester+Wave+Robotic+Process+Automation+Q1+2017/-/E-RES131182>
<UiPath just did B Round of financing (153M with Accel/KP + previous investors) this month> </https://www.pehub.com/2018/03/uipath-lands-153-mln-series-b-accel-led-round/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+pehub%2Fblog+%28PE+HUB+Blog%29> 108.243.32.21 (talk) 02:51, 7 March 2018 (UTC) Tina Jones
- Not done: As explained previously, this list is for companies that already have an article in the encyclopedia, something that does not apply to UiPath. Multiple repeated requests will not change the outcome of the request until there is such an article. You can request that an article be created. Eggishorn (talk) (contrib) 21:59, 7 March 2018 (UTC)

Insufficiently paraphrased text removal 11-MAR-2018
The bulk of the removed text came from an entry made at LinkedIN:
- Apte, Gunesh (10 January 2018). "RPA Simplified!!! From Gunesh Apte, Freelance Trainer & Consultant". LinkedIN. Archived from the original on 11 March 2018.
The link to additional removed text is here. Furthermore, if the text had been sufficiently paraphrased (which it isn't) it would still face removal, as it does not appear to originate from a WP:RS, but rather, the aforementioned LinkedIN page written by Mr. Apte.
