Benfleet railway station seves the town of South Benfleet in Essex, England. It is also the closest station to Canvey Island. The station, and all trains serving it, are operated by c2c.
Ticket Office:
The Ticket Office is open Monday - Saturday 05.15 - 22.00 and Sunday 06.15 - 22.00. It has four serving positions and uses the Tribute Ticket Issuing System. Version 9 is in use with Version 10 due soon.
The Station also has two Avantix Self Service Ticket Machines, a Fast Ticket Machine and a PERTIS Machine.
The typical off-peak service frequency is:
- 6tph (trains per hour) to Fenchurch Street of which:
- 2tph do not stop at Pitsea, West Horndon or Limehouse
- 2tph call at all stations via Basildon
- 2tph take the longer route via Ockendon
- 4tph to Shoeburyness
- 2tph to Southend Central
