Mahagadhimai Municipality is a new municipality composed of Bariyarpur, Ganjbhawanipur, Patrahati, Babuaayen, Malhani, Dahiyaar, Bagdampur, Kawahi Madhuri (Kawahijabdi), Telkuwa, Dharampur, Inarwa, that was announced by the Government of Nepal in 2014. The office of the municipality is in Bariyarpur.
