Electric Eye is a song from Judas Priest's 1982 album Screaming for Vengeance. The song concerns a giant electric eye that floats above the Earth; monitoring everything that the people of Earth do. The song contains the line:

I'm elected electric spy

This line insinuates that the Electric Eye has been commissioned by the government to spy on the people of Earth. The chorus of the song is:

I'm made of metal

 My circuits gleam
 I am perpetual
 I keep the country clean

This implies that the Electric Eye may be a benevolent force; despite its outward evil.
