Hello, would you please explain your changes to Albanian language on its talk page? I am reverting them for now because I do not believe they are all correct. I am a native speaker of the language, but I do not know the SAMPA guide. Someone else did that, but I wanted to make sure that you are sure of those changes. thanks, Dori | Talk 05:08, Dec 18, 2003 (UTC)
- Replied again at my talk page. Let me know if you're following the discussion there, so I don't have to cross-post here as well :) Dori | Talk 17:20, Dec 19, 2003 (UTC)
Please write at minimum a stub article if you wish to create a new article. Anything less may be removed. Thanks Dysprosia 09:19, 22 Dec 2003 (UTC)
Hi again. Will you please reply at Talk:Albania where you got the coat of arms image, and also it would be nice if you stated what the copyright status is of the image at its description page. Dori | Talk 04:49, Jan 19, 2004 (UTC)
- I got the coat of arms from the Albanian Ministry of Information: http://mininf.gov.al/ This is the official coat of arms as mentioned in the constitution of Albania. I added the info on the image link. Also, a nation's flag and coat of arms is public domain. Scythian99 | Talk
Deletion war brewing
I have noticed that you keep trying to take out material relating to Aleksandr Lukashenko that criticizes some of the policies that the west has adopted towards his regime. Can you please comment about my note on the talk page there about that dispute. You keep taking material out and user:172 keeps putting it back. Some kind of resolution to this kind of activity has to be reached. Are you willing to discuss this rationally? Please note that if this dispute cannot be resolved amicably I will be following the Wikipedia:Conflict resolution process in this matter. Thank you. — Alex756 | talk 12:35, 25 Jan 2004 (UTC)
Juniper
Hi Scythian - the Kew checklist & bibliography of conifers (generally regarded as the best authority on conifers) treats Sargent's Juniper as Juniperus chinensis var. sargentii; my experience of the taxon supports that, too, it only differs from typical J. chinensis in habit (a low shrub, not a tree), not in foliage, cones, etc - MPF 09:35, 6 Jul 2004 (UTC)
- Hi Scythian - "Does your source use DNA analysis or simply morphology?" - yep, both! - MPF 20:01, 11 Jul 2004 (UTC)
From where do you have this image?
Unverified images
Hi! Thanks for uploading the following images:
I notice it currently doesn't have an image copyright tag. Could you add one to let us know its copyright status? (You can use gfdl if you release it under the GNU Free Documentation License, fairuse if you claim fair use, etc.) If you don't know what any of this means, just let me know at my talk page where you got the images and I'll tag them for you. Thanks so much. Peter O. (Talk, automation script) 04:31, Dec 10, 2004 (UTC)
P.S. You can help tag other images at User:Yann/Untagged_Images. Thanks again.
Article Licensing
Hi, I've started a drive to get users to multi-license all of their contributions that they've made to either (1) all U.S. state, county, and city articles or (2) all articles, using the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike (CC-by-sa) v1.0 and v2.0 Licenses or into the public domain if they prefer. The CC-by-sa license is a true free documentation license that is similar to Wikipedia's license, the GFDL, but it allows other projects, such as WikiTravel, to use our articles. Since you are among the top 2000 Wikipedians by edits, I was wondering if you would be willing to multi-license all of your contributions or at minimum those on the geographic articles. Over 90% of people asked have agreed. For More Information:
- Multi-Licensing FAQ - Lots of questions answered
- Multi-Licensing Guide
- Free the Rambot Articles Project
To allow us to track those users who muli-license their contributions, many users copy and paste the "DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual" template into their user page, but there are other options at Template messages/User namespace. The following examples could also copied and pasted into your user page:
- Option 1
- I agree to multi-license all my contributions, with the exception of my user pages, as described below:
- DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual
OR
- Option 2
- I agree to multi-license all my contributions to any U.S. state, county, or city article as described below:
- DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual
Or if you wanted to place your work into the public domain, you could replace "DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual" with "MultiLicensePD". If you only prefer using the GFDL, I would like to know that too. Please let me know what you think at my talk page. It's important to know either way so no one keeps asking. -- Ram-Man (comment| talk)
