Coquitlam Centre is a shopping mall in Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada, built in 1979 and expanded in 2001. It is located at the southern edge of the Coquitlam Town Centre area, near Coquitlam Central station and several other smaller shopping centres. Coquitlam Centre is the largest mall in the Tri-Cities area, with an area of 84,882 m2 (913,665 sq ft) and 200 stores and services.[1]
Coquitlam Centre is a super-regional sized shopping centre anchored by Walmart, Hudson's Bay, Best Buy, London Drugs, T & T Supermarket, H&M, Sport Chek, Old Navy, Gap, Sephora, Apple, and Atmosphere. As of March 2018, the Old Navy location is set to move out of the mall itself and operate in the old Best Buy location. Miniso, Bath and Body Works, Foot Locker, Eddie Bauer, Lush, Zumis, Purdys, Bluenotes, RW & Co., and Below the Belt are some of the other main stores located in the mall.
Anchor tenants
Coquitlam Centre's original anchor tenants included The Bay, Eaton's, and Woodward's. As the mall expanded and Canada's retail climate changed, so too did the anchor tenants.[2]

- Future Shop (3,519 m2 [37,878 sq ft]) – closed March 28, 2015, due to consolidation as Best Buy; reopened as Best Buy in late 2015.

Transportation
Coquitlam Centre's location was chosen because it is at the intersection of Lougheed Highway and Barnet Highway, two major regional thoroughfares which provide access to Highway 1. The mall is located across from Coquitlam Central Station, a major transportation hub for the area with a public bus interchange, West Coast Express commuter rail station, and a SkyTrain station on the Evergreen Extension.[5][6][7][8]
On July 19, 2012, the Federal Government, the City of Coquitlam, and Coquitlam Centre finalized a deal that added Lincoln station to the route of the Evergreen Extension, giving the mall its own SkyTrain station.[9]
Film and television
The interior of the mall has been featured in several film and television productions, including the Academy Award-winning movie Juno, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas Ever.[10]
