Alexander O'Connor (born May 4, 1998), better known by his stage name Rex Orange County, is an English recording artist and songwriter from Grayshott.[1]

History

Rex Orange County began his music career in 2015 with the release of his first full-length record bcos u will never b free. In 2017 his work featured in a review by international publication NME.[2] He has collaborated with artists such as Tyler, The Creator and Marco McKinnis[3], before releasing a second studio album in 2017, titled Apricot Princess.

In January 2018 Rex came second in the BBC Sound of 2018, losing out to Norwegian singer Sigrid.
