The music video was shot in Japan. Madonna is seen wearing a short, platinum blonde wig in a sequence captured on a sound stage. The video also features dancers running and jumping through the streets of Tokyo. Many of the various signs and billboards on the storefronts and buildings have been altered to read, "Madonna", and "Jump", in Japanese. Madonna shot the video while on the Japanese leg of her Confessions Tour. [7] The video premiered on AOL, then VH1 in the US, and on Channel 4 in the UK, all on October 4, 2006.
