Dancing Beethoven is a 2017 Spanish documentary film directed by Arantxa Aguirre[1] about the ballet during the XX century by the coreographer Maurice Béjart.[2] It was released on April 28, 2017.[3] It lasted nine month to be shot.[3]

It tells the preparation of the Ninth Symphony, represented by the Béjart Ballet Lausanne and Tokyo Ballet, accompanied by the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, directed by Zubin Mehta.[4]
