İbrahim Toraman
İbrahim Toraman (born 1981, in Sivas), is a Turkish footballer. He plays the defender position. He currently plays for Beşiktaş Jimnastik Kulübü and the Turkish National Team.
His career started with local club Sivas DSİ Spor, playing 6 years at the amateur level. He was named 2nd best player out of all amateur level teams in Turkey. Professionally, Toraman played for Gaziantepspor, Ankaragücü, Gençlerbirliği and demanded attention on the field where ever he went. In his last 2 years at Gaziantepspor, he was reportedly added to the top of many teams' transfer lists. İbrahim Toraman, was signed by Istanbul club Besiktas JK in the 2004/05 pre-season on a 3 year contract.
He is most famous for his stunning headers. He is considered amongst Turkey's best defenders.
