The Northern California Renaissance Faire is a Renaissance fair in California located in Hollister about 90 miles southeast of San Francisco. The Renaissance Festival typically runs on weekends from mid-September to mid-October. It consists of five themed weekends. It is based on the Derbyshire village of "Willingtown" during the mid 1600's.

Features

The renaissance faire is held over five weekends in September and October. The fairgrounds host over 200 artisans and over 20 shows.[1] The main area in Casa De Fruta where the booths and rides are located. There is also a jousting tournament held every day the faire is held.[2] There is also a concert held every Saturday after jousting.

Themed Weekends

Each of the five weekends of the festival take on a different theme, influencing the performances, costumes, food, drink, art, shops, contests, and games throughout the festival grounds.
