Rave music is a genre of dance music that enolved out of the rave scene.

The origins of rave music go back to "Kitaro" and "Vangeles" created some of the first music using digital computers in the 1970s. They were beautiful but with very little beat or rhythm.

Main stream attention was finally given to electronic music in 1983 when Numbers by Kraftwerk and Planet rock by Afrika Bambaataa, which used drum machine and computer programming completely, broke into the top 100 R & B charts.
