Needs updating

This page needs to be updated because a few other games have been cracked.

Such as White Day: A Labyrinth Named School, CODEX cracked it in the first day due to a weak protection found in .dll not the .exe itself. Diszxchat (talk) 15:36, 25 August 2017 (UTC)

Anno 2205 got Denuvo with an update later. Should it be listed?

Anno 2205 did not launch with Denuvo and was cracked by Codex, and then its updates up to version 1.3.

With version 1.4, Denuvo was introduced and none of its updates have been cracked since.

Darkness within 2 removal

So it was noted that Darkness Within 2 was originally set to have denuvo according to review copies, but the developers/publishers have apparently decided against using it and the version that got released to the public didn't have it.

Wouldn't this make the game a entry of "List of games formerly using Denuvo" considering it used to have it prior to release? Or is the list for only games that removed it after release? This event is kind of unique so i'm unclear on whether it should.

Opening quote

Why does the article start with this quote: "Denuvo's marketing director Thomas Goebl stated that some console-only releases get PC releases due to this technology."

It's like the most positive argument thinkable in favor of the DRM, which just happens to be at the top of the article. That does not give the article a neutral POV.

Denuvo 4.8 bypass

As of yesterday (22nd January 2018) a bypass for Denuvo 4.8 exists. That'd make it possible to crack games like Assassin's Creed:Origin and others. Please update the article.

DRM cracking is revolutionary?

'In February 2018, CPY cracked Assassin's Creed Origins successfully, after almost 3 months of the game's release.[24] This achievement could prove revolutionary in PC gaming, as the game had the latest Denuvo v4.9 which had never been bypassed before.'

Missing info, needs expansion

Someone removed all info about the first games that were cracked with v4.9 and v5.0 protection. As is this article is missing critical and latest information. I don't see any use for the last paragraph under "History" if we do not include any info about the latest versions of Denuvo and their effectiveness or lack thereof.
