BTS World Tour: Love Yourself is the third worldwide concert tour headlined by the South Korean boy band BTS to promote their Love Yourself series, including their EP Love Yourself: Her and studio album Love Yourself: Tear.[1] The tour will begin on August 25, 2018 in South Korea. It is so far set to visit 7 countries, including United States, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Netherlands and Germany.[2]
Background
On April 26, 2018, BTS released a trailer on YouTube announcing the tour. The video included the cities they would be visiting with dates in South Korea, United States, Canada, and Europe. The same information was released on the official website and on the official Twitter.[3] Further tour dates are expected to be added.[4]
Tickets went on sale May 5, 2018 at 10 am local time for the Newark, Fort Worth, and Los Angeles dates. Tickets sold out within minutes. Due to the high demand, it was announced that an additional day would be added to the Los Angeles dates.[5] Tickets for the Oakland, Chicago, and Hamilton dates are listed as going on sale May 7, 2018 at 4 pm local time. The additional date to Los Angeles was announced as going on sale May 9, 2018 at 4 pm local time.
