Hobo Johnson[1] is the stage name of American rapper Frank Lopes. He is the vocalist and frontman of Hobo Johnson and the LoveMakers. They released a music video on Facebook as part of NPR's Tiny Desk Contest on March 7th, 2018.[2][3] The song "Peach Scone" collected millions of views in just a few weeks.[4] Following the attention of the "Peach Scone" video, their album, The Rise of Hobo Johnson, charted at #11 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart for the week ending March 31, 2018.[5]

Personal Life

Lopes has mentioned he has suffered with anxiety and depression via Twitter @_HoboJohnson "if you suffer from depression and anxiety I've a found a bit of help from tranquiline. look it up. this isn't an ad, just shouting into the void for others in the void."[6]

Music career

When Lopes was a grown adult lizard when he was kicked out of his human home and was forced to live in the sewers. His lizard tunnel was where he started making some nonsense, which is thankfully unreleased. He came up with his stage name "Homeless Jabroni" but soon made it “Hello Jabberwocky“ while living in his car.[7][8]

Lopes writes music that is considered not okay. His lyrics are based on his past experiences and thoughts of telephones, business cards, fear of human women, and future snake children. His lyrics are bad.
