I reverted this Vandalism by this ID 68.193.121.126 On November 1, 2005 Pumping GAS was removed which caused Super Sloppy Double Dare, Global GUTS, along with Rocket Power, Speed Racer, Scaredy Camp, SK8-TV, and Family Double Dare were removed and it were replaced with additional repeats of shows such as Legends of the Hidden Temple, Get the Picture, GUTS, Figure it Out and Double Dare 2000.

As of present day Nick GAS remains the same as it was since November 2005.

Criticisms

Programming

I would like to say that, like all of the other "nostalgia" networks, this network has corrupted. Many of the old shows, like What Would You Do and Wild & Crazy Kids have been dropped. The classic Double Dare has been dropped in favor of the failed revival Double Dare 2000. Also, Nick Arcade can only be seen at 1:00a and 1:30a. I don't mind the current lineup, but they need a little more variety.--

I completely agree. If you leave Nick GAS on for even just a few hours, you will start to see some of the same segments get repeated. This is obviously a very low budget operation for Nickelodeon (read: Viacom). When this channel was first picked up by my cable provider, there were literally only 5 or 6 different segments, so you'd start to see them loop after just an hour. I would prefer that there be no commercials. However, I will agree, that this network has become (if I'm using the word correctly) stagnant, showing that same old shows over and over again ever since Pumping GAS got cancelled. It feels as though this network isn't even aware of its own existence anymore...

Getting the axe

Somehow I feel that GAS might eventually get the axe. Reason is all they do is show the same old shows over and over again and Nick Arcade is only shown at the wee a.m. hours of the morning and there hasn't been any new shows lately. Anyone else feel this way. rksexy2finger

Only Regular Figure It Out

Figure It Out Classic is on the network only. Wild Style and Family Style were removed from the network. I'm glad for this because family talents and secrets are not as prestigious, and animal-related talents and secrets can be disturbing, like pigeon bowling. I agree with the overpopulation of pigeons, but that doesn't mean you can use them like a bowling ball.

Figure It Out Family Style Still runs on Nick GAS. Once in a blue moon Figure It Out Wild Style airs. The show descripiton on the tv guide still says Figure It Out even when wild style or family style is on.

Is the 24/7 GAS schedule ready to be changed?

since 1999, nick gas' schedule were cool everyday with all shows, every show aired.but since 11/29/2004, things were a little seemly different twist in a lineup."get the picture" been stuck at 1pm/noon ct & 1:30p/12:30p ct for so long since April 2004,nick arcade havent been in daytime lineup since October 2004. double dare 2000 has been an lone double dare version since November 2005 when pumping gas shockly disappeared from the lineup & all other shows (every show have air on Nick GAS before) like splash tv,sk8tv,scaredy camp,robot wars,you're on, what would you do?,global guts, double dare, super sloppy double dare,family double dare and wild & crazy kids not been airing for while or long time. to tell the truth;pretty soon, this schedule should be changing & it will be better like mix of 24/7 previous lineups on GAS between 3/1/99 and 11/28/04 so it will be back to normal again.70.230.176.1 18:13, 24 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

As of September 2006 the Nick GAS webpage on Nick.com says it is "under construction", possibly indicting a change in format of the website, television channel or both and second thought the Nick GAS will probably be change to Nick Rewind channel on next year which it shows Live Action featuring Games, Sitcoms, Reality and Sports with no Animated Shows, so say goodbye to Nick GAS forever and welcome Nick Rewind.

nick gas schedule still deserved to be changed because i'm tried of too many added repeats of double dare 2000,figure it out,finders keepers,get the picture,guts,legends of the hidden temple & nick arcade being played everyday when pumping gas was put off the lineup & made its schedule seemly overfull, last november. i'm get tired of get the picture being @ 12pm & 12:30pm cst since early dec. Finders Keepers

Finders Keepers has been removed from Nick Gas replaced it is Figure It Out.

If it is the 2am est one, you will see legends of the hidden temple. if it is the 5am est one, you will see figure it out. it's sad how nick is slowly taking away the old shows. I bet next up is get the picture or nick arcade being replaced with Guts or something like that.

Get the Picture was the same show who have been aired @ 1 & 1:30pm EST on every Monday-Friday Afternoons since April 2004 & on Saturday and Sunday Afternoons since December 2004on GAS,but it feel the same way Think Fast been @ 7:30am & 10:30am est & Make the Grade @ 8am & 11am est on weekdays (mon.-fri.) from 9/16/02 to 4/2/04. Finders Keepers,Double Dare,Family Double Dare,Nickelodeon GUTS,Nick Arcade,Figure It Out,Double Dare 2000,Global GUTS,Legends of the Hidden Temple,What Would You Do?,You're On,Wild & Crazy Kids,SK8-TV,Splash TV & Super Sloppy Double Dare were some of the classic shows(currently airing or not) on Nick GAS ,have waited patiently ever since,looking forward & finally needing to able to replace Get the Picture @ 1 & 1:30pm EST/12 & 12:30pm CST.Get the Picture should either be move into a different time slot or it will be removed before nick rewind will premiering.

Wrong Listings Info

TV Listings from Yahoo, Zap2it, etc still suggest Finders Keepers still airs at 2am, 2:30am, 5am and 5:30am (All times ET). I guess whoever makes the listings for accuracy, does not realize a change has occurred.
