Dean of Guernsey

The Dean of Guernsey is the leader of the Church of England in Guernsey, Alderney and, Sark. The dean as fulfils the role of archdeacon, rural dean, and Bishop's commissary for the Deanery of Guernsey.[1]

Though the Deanery of Guernsey is officially part of the Diocese of Winchester, since 2014 the Bishop of Dover of the Diocese of Canterbury has provided episcopal oversight.[2][3] This had been indented to be a temporary measure but is still in place As of 2018.[2][4]
